In today’s episode, we are going to share our beef tacos recipe. We are so excited to share it as we use our delicious Århus Spicy Wine Jelly as a hot, rich marinade, and we can’t wait for you to try it too.

The recipe for Århus Spicy Wine Jelly is a secret made from a rich, deep red wine, in this case, a Merlot, seasoned with jalapeño making it the perfect addition to your tacos! Our wine jellies come in different degrees of spicy heat, so if you prefer your tacos on the milder or hotter side, we have you covered!

Tacos are such a quick and easy dinner, and using Århus Spicy Wine Jelly; you don’t even need to make a marinade for your beef; just add a spoonful as it cooks and watch it melt in the heat, soaking up all the juices creating a delicious thick sauce. Therefore, we think this is the best beef tacos recipe ever! Feel free to use any meat you prefer, or even try it as a ground meat taco recipe; fry ground beef with peppers and onions, and add a couple of spoonfuls of Århus Spicy Wine Jelly.

Slice an onion and a green and red bell pepper into thin strips, and finely chop two garlic cloves. Chop your beef into slices. Heat some oil in a frying pan, then once hot, add your sliced onion and pepper. Cook for five to ten minutes until soft. Add the chopped garlic and cook for another minute. Add the sliced beef and quickly stir fry with the vegetables – you don’t want the beef to overcook. Dollop in two spoonfuls of Århus Spicy Wine Jelly and stir it into the meat and veggies. Once the beef is cooked to your liking, serve the spicy beef taco filling with corn tortillas, guacamole, and pico de gallo. To make the guacamole, simply mash some soft avocados with salt and lemon juice, then top with a drizzle of olive oil. To make the pico de gallo, which is a fresh Mexican salsa, dice onion, tomato, and bell pepper. Add them to a bowl and season with salt, lemon juice, and coriander. Refrigerate for one hour before serving to allow the flavors to amalgamate.

INGREDIENTS FOR BEEF TACOS:

CORN TORTILLAS

7 OZ BEEF

1 ONION

2 BELL PEPPERS

2 GARLIC CLOVES 

ÅRHUS™ SPICY WINE JELLY

INGREDIENTS DIPS:

GUACAMOLE:

AVOCADOS

LEMON JUICE

SALT

PICO DE GALLO:

1/2 DICED TOMATO

1/2 DICED ONION

1/2 DICED BELL PEPPER

LEMON JUICE

CORIANDER

SALT

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut beef into thin bite-size slices—heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Stir in the beef, and saute for 1 minute and keep aside.
  2. Cut onion and bell pepper lengthwise and cook using the same skillet.
  3. Continue cooking, adding beef and 2 tbsp Århus™ Spicy Wine Jelly.  

DIPS DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mash avocado with lemon and salt to desired texture.
  2. Mince tomato, onion, bell pepper in a bowl, add coriander, lemon juice, and salt. 
  3. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
